The HDAFL First Team are essentially the Club's reserve team, and currently compete in the Huddersfield and District Association Football League Division Two. The 2015/16 season was something of a struggle for the team, as they had difficulty obtaining a settled side and also experienced a number of managerial changes. Thie side were only spared relegation thanks to other teams withdrawing from the league, but with a more stable outlook for 2016/17 and a number of promising younger players on the books there is great belief that the team can press on and challenge in the top half of the table.
