The HDAFL 'A' Team are essentially the Club's development side, and tend to be made up of a number of experienced footballers along with younger players who have just made the step up from junior football. The team currently compete in the Huddersfield and District Association Football League Reserve Division Four. The 2015/16 season saw the 'A' team introduce a large number of young footballers to senior football, and their development as a group has been such that the players have now been distributed amongst all three HDAFL teams. Despite being the least senior of all four Honley teams, there is no doubt that the 'A' team has a huge role to play in shaping the Club's future.
